Residential and nursing home care for older people
The Accounts Commission has worked with 39 homes in the public, private and voluntary sectors to develop a group of indicators of cost and quality for residential and nursing home care. The results of this work are given in the report and executive briefing Care in the balance. In addition, we have published a data collection handbook for councils, and other providers, to compare their performance with the indicators in the report.
